Professor Nam Nguyen received his black belt under the legendary Mendes Brothers at Art of Jiu-Jitsu (AOJ) in 2021. In addition to his AOJ lineage, he has trained under Erik Paulson of Combat Submission Wrestling and Daniel Manasoiu of New Wave. Professor Nam is a 2022 Gold Medalist and previously served as Head Instructor at UFC Gym Costa Mesa from 2021 to 2025. Known for his technical instruction, positive coaching style, and passion for teaching, Professor Nam is committed to helping students of all levels improve both on and off the mats.

Professor Vinny Lader brings high-level experience and technical Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction to Almighty Jiu-Jitsu. His coaching style focuses on helping students build strong fundamentals, confidence, and practical grappling skills in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Professor Jason deBruyn received his black belt under Gui and Rafa Mendes at Art of Jiu-Jitsu in 2019. Since beginning his Jiu-Jitsu journey in Huntington Beach in 2008, he has earned 73 competition medals, including 35 gold medals. Professor Jason’s mission is simple: spread the Jiu-Jitsu lifestyle to everybody. His passion for teaching, competition experience, and dedication to helping students improve make him an important part of the Almighty Jiu-Jitsu team.
